COURSE EXPECTATIONS:
Pupils studying GCSE Dance will be expected to have a commitment to dance in lessons as well as being involved in rehearsals during and after school. Pupils must bring kit to all dance lessons and have fully participated in Key Stage 3 P.E. An enthusiasm towards all aspects of dance and a keen interested in choreography and teaching others is necessary. Pupils will be expected to perform assessed work in front of their peers, an examiner and an audience. An ability to manage their time effectively and having dance experience outside of school will be a benefit. To meet the demands of the course, it is expected that pupils will give up their own time to rehearse. An extra curricular club will run every Thursday from 3.15 - 3.45pm.
