E Q U I P M E N T
The school endeavours to provide equipment needed for pupils in lessons. It is however, appreciated if pupils have their own writing equipment. The following items are particularly useful:
Pencil-case, pencil, fountain pen or ball-point, ruler, rubber, coloured pencils, felt-tip pens, drawing equipment, a scientific calculator (e.g. Casio FX-83 models), and a Collins "Easy Learning" French-English dictionary.
Children will need a bag in which to keep books and equipment. This should be small enough to go into a locker. Large sports bags are not suitable and will cause unnecessary problems.
School PE kit is currently under review for September 2011.
All pupils will be expected to mark kit with a permanent marker or name tapes. At the beginning of each term kit will be checked for identification.
School sweatshirts (navy blue for Years 7 to 9, black for Years 10 and 11), ties and fleeces can be bought from school in Reception each day at lunchtime between 12 noon and 1.20pm.
School polo shirts (to be worn in the Summer terms only) can be bought from school in Reception each day at lunchtime.
School fleeces (navy blue) may be worn during PE lessons, can be bought from school in Reception each day at lunchtime.
