SCHOOL ORGANISATION
Kingshill School is a co-educational comprehensive school for 11 - 16 year olds. In 1999 Kingshill became a Foundation School maintained by the Local Education Authority - Gloucestershire County Council. In August 2011 Kingshill School became an Academy, funded directly from central government The school is very popular and is oversubscribed. Normally the school admits 165 pupils arranged in 6 forms of 27/28 pupils. The school currently has approximately 845 pupils on roll.
Since its foundation in 1976 the school has enjoyed continued success, in both academic achievement and the personal development of its pupils.
The Headteacher is responsible to the Governors for the running of the school.
